The duration of each semester is 16 weeks, out of which 3 is assigned for theory teaching, 9 weeks for self-study and 4 weeks for examination period. The first two weeks in four semesters is designed for forming Master student's individual study programme.
The weekly classroom work load makes up 24 academic hours.
One ECTS credit is equal to 30 academic hours, each semester a student shall have a worload of 20 ECTS credits or maximum of 30 ECTS credits, in one academic years this figure makes up 48 ECTS credits. The total load of the master programme is equal to 120 ECTS credits.
The programme education part consists of the following components: additional course, general courses, mandatory subject- specific courses and elective courses.
The first two components serve to ensure the general basis for master's degree, the third componenet makes up the content of the master programme ensuring the basis needed for subject-specific knowledge and competences, while the fourth component is the individualized part of the programme.

Mandatory subject-specific courses are 14 module-courses each with 3, 4.5 and 6 ECTS credits. The total workload consits of 51 ECTS credits. This is the list of courses mandatory for the master program which ensures knowledge and competencies needed for this particular specialization at master level. Research
Research consists of the following components:seminar with scientific supervisor, research work, research internsip, pedagogical internship and master's thesis.
Seminar with scientific supervisor is series of seminars conducted by the scientific supervisor with his/her students where students are explained the methods how to conduct scientific research, to produce reports, to lead scientific disputse and to make reviews. It is conducted in all five semesters and each is assigned 3 ESTC credit.
The content of research work is conditioned by the issues the master student is going to study in his/her thesis and is drawn up together with his/her scientific supervisor. It is conducted in all five semesters and is assigned 15 ECTS credits in total.
The research internsip is conducted in 5th semester according to the program drawn up and approved by the scientific supervisor with a workload of 3 ECTS credits.
The pedagogical internship is conducted in 5th semester according to the program drawn up and approved by the scientific supervisor. It envisages seminars and practical lessons, as well as reviewing term papers. The pedagogical internship is assigned 3 ECTS credits.
Master’s thesis and its defence is the final stage of master’s program which is held in the 5th semester. The program assigns 12 ECTS credits for Master’s thesis preparation and its defence.
