The aim of this course is to study the technical features of distributed and local network designing, to be able to understand the structure of internet address, domain and its structure, to have primary knowledge about the agreements used in network designing. During this course the distributed network designing and its operation features peculiarities are studied.
The course of studies aims at teaching the students the structure of network models and division principles of network levels. Upon completing this course students shall gain fundamental knowledge about types of network models. In the first part (8 academic hours) the students get acquainted with Drupal 6 content management system, core blocks and modules included in its structure and ready design templates which can be activated on the webpage. They study the skills of inserting tables, numbered texts, colors, pictures, titles with HTML.
In the second part (8 academic hours) the students are taught basic knowledge and comprehension of web programming and programming languages (PHP web programming language in Drupal 6 content management system).
